Test Automation Engineer
Lokeren, Flemish region, Belgium
As Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and executing automated testing solutions to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
Responsibilities
- Develop automated test cases using Python and related frameworks
- Identify, document and resolve software defects
- Collaborate with developers and Product Lifecycle Managers to define and execute testing strategies
- Analyze test results and report findings in Jira
Required skills and experience
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Experience with test automation
- Basic knowledge of Linux
- In-depth understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Proficiency with Jira, Git, and PyCharm
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
Extra plus points
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Knowledge of Jenkins, Docker and Elastic
- A genuine interest in electric vehicles and charging solutions
- Hands-on experience with PyTest or unittest
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
