The near future...
Jan Janssens is on his way to his lunch meeting. He is the proud owner of a brand new plug-in hybrid car. Jan is a salesman in high-tech systems and with this hyper modern and eco-friendly car he makes a great first impression with his customers. Since he is often on the road for his work, he had opted for the longest lasting battery. But even this one is at the moment almost flat - fortunately, he is familiar with your parking company and he knows that you have eNovates charging stations. While driving into your parking area he quickly locates one of the parking spaces allocated to electrical vehicles. He registers with the charging system with his customer card, connects his vehicle and thus reassured, he makes his way to the nearby restaurant.
Reassured - because even the longest lasting 30kWh battery can be charged within a couple of hours in the standard mode. That is sufficient, because he knows this client likes to dine. Should he be in a hurry, he could have opted for one of the three eNovates rapid charging stations in your parking - although he is aware that a higher rate applies for those. Jan is, by the way, already registered in your management system - through your eNet Management Suite you know exactly how much and when Jan charged on your premises. Less frequent visitors can obtain a pre-paid card from the parking attendant to charge their vehicle.
During coffee Jan is informed discretely - via SMS - that the maximum charging time for his car is almost over. This was pre-set by you on 2.5 hours, because your marketing department has determined that length of time as the optimal recharge & parking duration. By the way, with this 2.5 hours the heavy-duty battery is recharged for over 80%. (Excellent", Jan thinks that he can bring the meeting to a conclusion, "now I can go and report to my management.".
