The near future...

Piet Peeters lives, works and spends most of his pastime in the city. Progressive and environmentally conscious, he transports all the time through and around the city by using of the well-known mobility project 'SwitchTrans'. SwitchTrans is a collaboration between various parties, and your exchange cars organisation is part of it. Piet is, after all, a busy man and he realises all too well the advantages of SwitchTrans - no lengthy searching for parking space, an extremely flexible transport system, tailored to his busy and varied existence and he is also aware of the 'zero emission charter' issued by SwitchTrans.

A sunny summer's day - 8 o'clock in the morning. Piet decides to travel to work with his electrical bike - he works on the other side of the city, but with the extra power which the e-bike gives him, he can cross the ten kilometers in approximately twenty minutes. A lot faster than by car, which would be stuck in city traffic immediately. He finds the nearest e-bikes stand just around the corner, connected to the eNovates charging infrastructure. He registers with the charging system through his RFID membership card, which hangs from his set of keys. The charging system releases the e-bike Piet selected and he is on his way.

After enjoying the morning sun during the short ride, Piet drops the e-bike off at the eNovates flex stand. This stand is located in the parking area of his employer. SwitchTrans operates many flex stands - in city parking, public parking, parking areas of participating supermarkets and companies, near cinemas, ... He registers again, this time to one of the available charging slots. "Welcome back, Piet", reports the system. After that, Piet connects his e-bike and sees the status LEDs flick to "blue", indicating that the e-Bike is recharging. "What a great start of the day!", Piet thinks, and walks into the office.

eNovates software offers SwitchTrans and participating companies all necessary means to monitor their network of transport vehicles as well as their usage. SwitchTrans is subscription-based and the eNet Management Suite ensures that subscription rates are always related to the actual costs for SwitchTrans. The SwitchTrans membership cards also offers its users many advantages and promotions, initiated by the participating companies. By the way, should Piet not have returned the e-bike or returned it too late, the eNet Management software would detect this immediately.
