Analysts expect that by 2015 approximately 5% of all vehicles will be fully or partially fuelled with electricity. Already we see these expectations becoming reality: nowadays, every car manufacturer has made the first step toward hybridisation. Even for the traditionally big polluters, such as SUVs, there are hybrid versions available. But the totally electrical car also gains ground every day - every big manufacturer will launch at least one 'full electric' model in 2011-2012. As a provider of rental or share vehicles you can take the lead in this brand new, progressive market. Below you'll find a few elements to begin with, for your business case:

  • Climate protection: by stimulating electrical driving you contribute in an important way to the protection of our climate. This certainly is the case in urban areas, where electrical driving can be a significant contribution to the air quality. This will boost your "ecological PR" - your company will earn a reputation for progressive and ecological awareness with your guests, in the media and the general public. Also a potential provider of decentralised energy supply (think of the batteries in the vehicles in your fleet) you can collaborate with energy providers to stimulate ongoing evolution toward green electricity production.
